About the author: Andrea Lemus was born in Los Angeles, CA to an English professor mother and Science/Math teacher father. Her loving parents nurtured a passion for reading, writing and following the God of the Universe. Andrea graduated from the California State University, Northridge’s Earth Science program in 1994. She worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 4 years after college. Today, Andrea lives in the suburbs of Los Angeles with her husband and two boys. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, writing, and scrapbooking. |

Andrea is currently writing a Young Adult, Inspirational, Romantic, Science-Fiction The title is The Crimson Diamond This book is the first volume in a proposed series called The Chronicles of the Gem Planets, which could be extended as long as nine volumes. |

Synopsis: Five teenagers embark on an adventure that teaches them how to love and trust each other, as well as love and trust their Creator. The story begins seventy years after His Royal Highness, Lord of the Kingdom, commissioned terra-formers to colonize and mine the Gem Planets: Diamond, Travertine, Rubidoux, Silver, Zircon, Turquoise, Emerald, Gypsum and Gold. Each planet represents a different fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5, to show the benefits of applying the fruits to the reader's life. On Diamond Planet, seventeen-year-old Caitlin is faced with the disappearance of her best friend, Nola, and growing romantic feelings for Nola’s cousin, Tomas. Eventually, Caitlin must decide if she will trust the Creator to help her find her best friend and whether she is in love with Tomas. |
